The first time I played golf, the grass was like a carpet. My coach was a friendly British guy who was tall and thin, and had a great sense of humor. First of all, I had to learn the fundamental skills such as grip, stance, posture, as well as swing. It was tough to begin with, however, I had a lot of fun. For one thing, I had a good time with my coach and got to practice my English with him. It turned out the coach and I have other things in common and I had a good long chat with him. Learning golf is not easy, but at my level it’s easy to progress fairly quickly. I believe my perseverance, patience and passion can one day help me excel at the sport. I believe as long as I enjoy it I will practice, and as long as I practice I will improve. |
