The semester has already passed by in the blink of an eye. To my satisfaction, I have succeeded in doing something meaningful, a biological experiment on cell separation.

The biological experiment was done one month ago. It was about observing the cell separation. I felt quite excited and curious before the experiment.

After getting the equipment ready, we began the experiment.

First, I put a piece of onion roots about 2 to 3 centimeters in length into the solution. Then, I picked it out with a pair of tweezers and put it into acetic red liquid to dye it. Then, I clamped the onion root tip out on a slide and added a drop of solution. Thirdly, I placed the onion root tip under a microscope lens and watched the change. Finally, I wrote what I have observed from the experiment into my experiment record.

I have met some minor troubles in using my microscope in the process of the experiment. However, with the teacher's help, I managed to succeed in finishing the experiment. This has stimulated my interest in biology.

The lesson I drew from the biology experiment is that I should make every effort to do my best and never give up in whatever I do. My confidence has been boosted ahead of doing further experiments.
