中山大学2010级应用英语专业 江诗韵 指导老师 徐斌 When I was a child, I worshipped pop stars. But now I can’t even remember the names or faces of the stars I worshipped. When I was in middle school some of my friends set up fan clubs for their idols. But I wasn’t fanatical enough to be part of that culture. And I was too lazy to go to any concerts. Once I went to an autograph-signing by a famous game designer at one time. The designer’s name is Hideo Kojima, the Japanese creator of Metal Gear Solid, my favorite computer game. But I wouldn’t say I idolized this man. Actually my idol is my mother. Ever since I was born, she has been a full-time housewife to help take care of me. Even though I’ve grown up, I think she still sees me as a child. She cooks every day for me though her cooking is not the best. She does all the chores and takes care of my dog. Sometimes I help her with the housework. But I can’t do it as well as she does. I need to learn from her. My mother is and always will be my true idol. |
