东莞实验中学高一 罗士涵 指导老师 蒋坛军 Once I took part in a 50km Hiking activity with my mother. It was the furthest I had ever walked. I got up at six o’clock. At first, I was excited because I thought it would be a piece of cake. But I soon realized that I was wrong. After about two kilometers, I felt exhausted so I asked my mother whether I could have a short rest. But she refused and I had to obey her. Two hours later when the sun was blazing upon us, sweat streamed down from my face. As soon as I discovered it was lunch time I lay down on the roadside and refused to lift my feet. Anyway, I resumed my journey after getting some encouragement during the lunch break, although my whole body was already drained of energy, and my legs were sore. In the afternoon, I managed to catch up with my fellow hikers. When I got to within 10 kilometers of the destination, I felt a new lease of life. I smeared some ointment on my senseless legs and decided to stick it out. After walking uphill for some time, I saw a flag fluttering and quickened my pace. After 13 hours of struggling, I finally reached the destination. The feeling was indescribable. |
