阿什丽·格林尼挑战惊悚电影《幻影》 If “Twilight” was Ashley Greene’s prom night, then her latest movie, “The Apparition,” is her graduation. It can’t be easy shedding the security blanket of one of the biggest movie franchises of recent times but the 25-year-old actress is looking relaxed as she chats at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. After almost five years, billions of dollars and many headlines, the “Twilight” train will reach its final destination when “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part II” is released next month. “It is exciting, but at the same time the unknown is always a little scary,” she said. “But that’s life, and it’s what keeps us going, so yes, I’m excited about the future.” Clearly fond of Alice Cullen, the character who made her a household name, the actress is ready for what lies ahead after saying farewell to her movie franchise family. “It’s sad that ‘Twilight’ is ending because it’s been such a big part of my life,” she admits wistfully. “But the exciting thing is that it’s afforded me a lot of opportunities, and so I would be crazy to dwell on that and not grab the reins and go for it.” She’s now living the dream life but turn the clock back five years and her story was a familiar Hollywood tale. At 19, she was one of thousands of hopefuls, making a living working in a restaurant in L.A. Greene originally auditioned for the role of Bella (the role played by Kristen Stewart), before being called back to audition for Alice. She’s thinking of following in the footsteps of other A-listers like Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz and starting her own production company. (SD-Agencies) |
