深职院创意研发中心启动 首批设七个大师级工作室

A creative research center was opened at Shenzhen Polytechnic on Friday, becoming the city's first art design platform to combine production, teaching and research.

Several well-known designers were invited to open studios at the center, the polytechnic said on Friday.

The center will cover areas such as graphic, design, jewelry design, space design, interior design, digital media innovation and modern wax painting.

Leading studios by well-known designers, educators and organizations will be invited to collaborate with the center.

The first batch of studios also include a creative studio from the city's association of graphic design, a user research and experience design center by Tencent Inc., a space design studio by Huang Jiancheng, chief designing director of the Chinese Pavilion of Shanghai Expo, a graphic design studio by Xiao Yong, designer of the Beijing Olympics medals and other studios of top designers including Liu Zilong, Li Ruilin and Wu Fenghua, the polytechnic said.
