I feel privileged this semester to be at my new school, Guangdong Winner Way Foreign Language School, which is famed for its bilingual teaching and diverse curriculum.

Well-designed buildings, good views, lavish offices, vast green playing fields, enthusiastic students -- all these things excite me, "What a lively school!" From the corridor you can see old people exercising in the park next to the Dongjiang River.

The teachers come from different countries including the United States, Russia and the Philippines, making it a multi-lingual but casual and relaxed office environment.

The students are products of their surrounding environment. One Brazilian girl who speaks English and Chinese fluently likes to discuss the technical aspects of teaching with me. One big-and-bright-eyed African boy always has questions for me. One Korean girl often sings for me after class. They are a joy to be around.

I have a golden opportunity to improve my English here and learn from some great people.
