My chemistry teacher
    2012-10-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

  深圳市新安中学高一(3)班 吴立姗 指导老师 周宇芳 汤颖

I gradually warmed to my chemistry teacher Mr. Zhou after initially thinking he was very strict. He is a man of about 50 who seldom smiles, but being taught by him has been an unforgettable experience.

He manages to prevent students from being bored by challenging us. Being kept on our toes in this way really helped bring the information in our textbooks to life.

Despite being naturally reserved, he is approachable and affable.

One day, he asked me a question in class, and I answered it correctly in a clear voice. He gave me an assuring smile and said that I can do well in chemistry. At that moment, I realised that chemistry is not as difficult as I thought.

His patience and competence have helped increase the confidence of every student who has ever studied under him.

I respect him a lot and I think that I will do well in chemistry with Mr. Zhou.
