Wang Yuanyuan cheekywang@hotmail.com Shenzhen University plans to enroll 30 full-time students from Hong Kong who will be able to enter the university without sitting the National College Entrance Examinations, university leaders announced on October 28. The students can apply for majors such as finance, law, advertising, business management, computer science and technology, and automation, the university said on its Web site. Online registration will open on May 6 next year. Hong Kong applicants can apply to enter the university and admission will be based on their scores in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), along with references introducing their past education experience. Meanwhile, a total of 60 majors including finance, law, advertising and Chinese literature will be opened to Chinese students from overseas regions including Macao and Taiwan in 2013. |
