‘Gangnam Style’and tug-of-war
    2012-11-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The song “Gangnam Style” by Korean singer Psy has become world-famous in a short time. On the surface, the song is comical, but there is a flip side.

Yesterday, my classmates and I took part in a tug-of-war for Sports Day. We picked up the rope, clutched it tightly and waited for the start signal. Suddenly, a girl in my team joggled the rope and started to sing,”Oh ba Gangnam style…” She performed the “horse dance,” jumping like Psy. At this point, one of my classmates couldn’t help falling to the ground with laughter. This caused us to lose the match.

Some of us blamed the girl and she cried, but I blamed the devilishly catchy song.
