    Although the one-week “Happy English Festival” has passed, I still feel excited.

    It is the first time I have attended such a special festival. Because I was so interested, I took part in every activity.

    First, I entered a contest called “Photo Talk” which required the contestants to give a slideshow presentation. I searched online and chose my topic — Huangshan Mountain, which I once visited. I tried my best to be well prepared. As a result, I won second prize.

    After that, I took part in the “Blackboard Newspaper” competition with my class. We designed an issue about Christmas and won first prize.

    I also attended the Christmas Party. My classmates and I helped do preparations and we were rewarded with gifts.

    On the last day of the festival, I was honored to be the host of an English aptitude competition. The most interesting part of the competition was when we were asked to guess English words. A pair of people were asked to work out one word at a time. One person presented the English word applying body language, the other spoke out the word he had guessed accordingly. It made us laugh.

    I am looking forward to the next “Happy English Festival” at Meishan Middle School.
