Winter session
    2013-01-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    Dear readers,

How have you been? It’s mid-January and we are halfway through the winter holiday.

While most of us have been enjoying the break from school, some students have already begun class via winter session courses.

During the winter break, students can take classes for credit. This is a great opportunity for those who wish to graduate early or take extra classes. A variety of courses are offered, but compared with regular school sessions, the selection is somewhat limited. Of course, students have to pay additional tuition fees to attend the classes.

As winter break nears its end, I feel somewhat reluctant to begin classes again. After all, who doesn’t want winter break to last a little longer? On the other hand, some students have already gone back to school. For example, most high school students have returned from their break. They should be expecting midterms around this time. Thus, as much as students love to take time off and relax, going back to school remains an inevitable reality. In all seriousness, learning is always important.

    Sincerely,

    Bingyin
