    In my hometown, almost every family wants a boy. After a few years of my birth, my family welcomed another two boys.

    At that time, almost everyone in my family focused on them while the girls and I could hardly win their attention. But my grandfather was one exception. He took care of me in every way. He would give me tasty snacks and make sure I appeared in every family picture.

    An unforgettable experience made me know how much he loved me. One day, he rode his bicycle back from the town and gave me a small red bag. He said he saw it in a small stall and thought that I would love it. At that moment, tears rolled down from my cheeks and I quickly wiped them away. Because of him I feel I have never been discarded by the family.

    Sadly, he passed away six years ago. He was always a beacon of hope and a strong figure who encouraged me to walk forward bravely. I missed him so much. No one could replace him in my heart.
