    Taking a trip to an exotic location during a long summer holiday is simply the best way to relax. I was one of the lucky people who had the chance to do that, in northern Thailand.

    I stayed there for an entire week with several friends. I had always thought the summer in Thailand was extremely hot, but in its northern part, I experienced several cool and rainy days. We followed a local guide and visited many temples. I learned a lot about the interesting local culture, customs and folklore during the trip.

    The White Temple was the most beautiful temple I had ever visited. It looked like a tower and was covered by many small mirrors.

    Besides its amazing architecture, Thailand has a large number of exotic fruits. After meals, I always tried my best to taste different kinds of fruit. The price of the fruit was also very low.

    My enduring impression of Thailand is the friendly people, delicious food and spectacular scenery. I believe the experience will last in my memory.
