Back from the break
    2013-01-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Dear readers,

The new semester has already begun. I have a slightly different schedule this semester, but I am just as excited and interested. I am taking four classes consisting of two required courses and two electives. Some of my classes are small and discussion-based, while others are lectures. Almost all of the courses incorporate participation as a percentage of your grade. Thus, it is important to be active and stay involved in each class.

As a way of welcoming students back, several events have been held around campus these few days. Performances, club events, etc. have been organized. I’ve received emails and seen posters and flyers promoting these activities all around campus. It looks like everyone is looking forward to resuming school.

After a monthlong break, it definitely feels different to be back at school. I have grown somewhat unused to waking up early and going to class, but I will stop missing the break soon. And even if I did, spring break is not far away.

Sincerely,

Bingyin
