A total of 125 students in Shenzhen, whose families are suffering from financial difficulties, are receiving free training at Shenzhen Children’s Palace in Futian District.

The six-month training program includes traditional Chinese dancing, singing, language performance and painting courses, Children’s Palace said in a statement on Saturday.

Eighty percent of the tuition fee will be paid by the city’s welfare lottery center and the rest will be covered by Children’s Palace.

After the training, some will be selected to join in the performing group of the palace.

During the program, they will also have the chance to perform at citywide events and join in exchange programs with other students at the training center.
