March updates
    2013-03-06  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    Dear readers,

    Happy first Wednesday of March!

I remember around this time last year, all the seniors were anxious about college admission decisions, most of which come out in March. This year, most of us are consumed by thoughts about housing registrations for next year.

Those who wish to stay in dormitories on campus are required to apply for housing every year. There are many different dormitories to choose from, each with its own pros and cons. For example, some are closer to classrooms, while others are more spacious. Depending on their preferences, students are required to list their top choices in the application. They are also given the option of choosing who they want their roommates to be. However, nothing is guaranteed, and room selection is on a first-come first-serve basis.

In addition to reapplying for housing, a lot of people are in the midst of the first wave of midterms. On campus, I see many walking to the library with books and papers in one hand, and coffee in the other. I guess in addition to the caffeine, the anticipation of spring break will keep all of us awake!

Is there anything keeping you awake?

    Sincerely,

    Bingyin
