    My little nephew is 1 year old now. He brings happiness and laughter to our family.

    He loves playing in water, especially in a warm bath tub. Once inmersed in water, he immediately becomes a free and happy fish swimming in a pool. He likes to grab a handful of water and throw it into the air. Sometimes he also raises his legs to stomp in water to make splashes. He even orders us to play in water with him when he is excited. He would consciously give each of us a kiss after having a bath from time to time.

    He can utter a few words now, such as “father,” “mother,” “grandpa,” “grandma,” and “aunt.” When I face him, he can recognize me and call me “aunt.” But if I talk to him on the phone he cannot figure out who I am. He would call me “grandpa,” “grandma” or whatever words popped into his head. How interesting he is.

    My little nephew is the apple of our eyes.
