THE 28th Shenzhen International Furniture Expo kicks off at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on Tuesday, as more than 1,000 exhibitors and 100,000 professional buyers are expected to attend.

    The theme this year is “Design creates possibilities,” and the four-day annual expo that boasts four display areas — an Italian furniture hall, a high-end customized furniture pavilion, originally designed furniture pavilion and a pavilion showcasing furniture industry design — is regarded as one of the four most forward-looking exhibitions on the Chinese mainland.

    Many people are aiming to abandon the conventional and dull interior design of their homes and would like to express themselves by showcasing their personal taste, and buyers at this expo will likely find stylish designs that combine environmentally friendly features with a modern aesthetic.
