    If I were young again, I would sincerely appreciate my mother’s love and patience, and thank her for her efforts to give me a happy childhood. I would pay attention to her precious advice and try to listen to her thoughts. Now I know that nothing else is more important than parental love.

    If I were young again, I would persuade myself to stick to my goals. I would not give up so easily when I face difficulties. Now I understand the importance of perseverance. Because most success requires hard work over a long period.

    If I were young again, I would focus all my attention on one thing at a time. I would let nothing come between me and my goal, as I now fully realize that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once. I would invest energy, time and everything that is necessary on only one thing at a time.

    If I were young again, I would look on the positive side more often. I would maintain a positive attitude towards life. Because I now truly understand that life is a mirror, and if I smile, it will smile back at me.

    Finally, if I were young again, I would try hard to bring much more happiness to others instead of only pleasing myself. Because I now understand that it is better to give than to receive.

    But now I am no longer young. I have understood the truths of life and I will try to make a change from now on.
