艾丽•范宁马不停蹄拍新片 Teenage actress Elle Fanning is getting busy, filming “Low Down” in Los Angeles just months after performing in “Ginger & Rosa.” She was caught on the set of “Low Down” with a sandwich in hand and near a balcony on May 9. The 15-year-old actress will star alongside Peter Dinklage and John Hawkes in the indie flick based on a memoir by Amy Albany. The movie looks at the life of pianist Joe Albany (Hawkes) from the perspective of his young daughter (Fanning), as she watches him contend with drug addiction during the 1960s and ’70s jazz scenes. Shooting for the musical biopic reportedly began on May 6 and will continue for the next month. The film is being helmed by Jeff Preiss, who has directed music videos for Mariah Carey, The B-52s and R.E.M. He’s also served as cinematographer for numerous documentaries. Elle Fanning is the younger sister of actress Dakota Fanning and mainly known for her starring roles in “Phoebe in Wonderland,” “Somewhere” and “We Bought a Zoo.” In 2011, Elle starred in her breakout role as Alice Dainard in J. J. Abrams’ sci-fi-drama blockbuster, “Super 8.” She received overwhelming critical acclaim and was often cited as one of the film’s best aspects. Last week, Elle joined sister Dakota at the 2013 Met Gala in New York City. In a recent interview, Elle received some kind words from Dakota, who praised her younger sister’s unique sense of style. “She’s very uninhibited and will try pretty much anything,” said Dakota, a “Twilight” star. “Even the way she dresses — she dresses totally for herself. She risks being made fun of…by me, which I sometimes do, because I’m an older sister! But I totally admire her and think she’s very cool.” (SD-Agencies) |
