Li Bingyin is studying finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University. Summer Dear readers, Summer has finally arrived! Classes ended a week ago, and final exams have come to an end. With that, the school year is over. Taking finals, however, was only the second-to-last thing we had to worry about. Before we could delve into the excitement of summer, we had one more errand to take care of — moving out. As simple as that sounds, moving out for many college students involves much more than packing clothes into a suitcase and lugging them home. For those who live far away, and for those who have quite a few belongings, moving out is especially troublesome and inconvenient. Luckily, there are a few resources students can reach out to when moving out. The most important is probably storage services. There are many storage companies that provide space for college students. Most work the same way: After students pack everything into cardboard boxes, storage companies pick up and transport the boxes to their storage location nearby. When the next semester rolls along, students take their items out of storage and to their new dorms. This way, students save the trouble of having to transport all their belongings back home. After hours of packing and moving out, my room looked very empty. In fact, it reminded me of the first time I walked in back in fall of last year. It’s hard to believe it’s been an entire year, and summer is here again. Now it’s time to enjoy the warmth and relax! Sincerely, Bingyin |
