    2013-05-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

IT’S no surprise for Shenzheners to discover blooming flowers in the city year-round, but the best seasons for appreciating blossoms are spring and early summer. Shenzhen Park Service said starting from Lichun, also known as the beginning of spring and based on the Chinese lunar calendar, residents will find at least 11 kinds of common flowers in parks or greenbelts, and the blooms will continue appearing through July. The floral seasons of some flowers overlap, making the city a sea of vibrant colors.
