One day last year when I went to IKEA I found a doll which was lovely, and like a little boy. I fell in love with him immediately and bought it without hesitation. Merrily I carried him home. Out of love I treated him as if he was my real son. I gave him the name Timothy. After I brought him home I helped him to take a bath, and then I bought him some clothes. Timothy’s arms and legs can move flexibly. When I help him to move his arms and legs, he’s like a real person. Now he has a good collection of clothes, including leisure wear, raincoats and even business suits. To match his clothing I bought him several shoes. For instance, he has a pair of boots to go with his raincoat, and a pair of leather shoes for his business suit. Since I’m a female, and will become a mother one day, taking care of Timothy makes me feel like a mother. Timothy is not just a doll but a friend and “son” of mine. |
