Garrett Clayton is headed to ‘The Fosters’
    2013-10-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    加里·克莱顿将出演《如此一家人》

A “Teen Beach Movie” reunion is on the horizon.

Actor Garrett Clayton, who starred with Maia Mitchell on the Disney Channel’s summer ratings hit, has landed a pivotal role in ABC Family’s “The Fosters,” The Hollywood Reporter said.

Clayton has joined the hour-long drama in a recurring capacity as Chase, a handsome and charming high school senior who recruits Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) to join the crew of the school play. He first appears in the second episode of the winter season, which kicks off in January.

The casting came days after ABC Family issued an early season two renewal for “The Fosters.” Rosie O’Donnell is also set to recur when the series returns for the remaining episodes of its freshman season.

Co-created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige, “The Fosters” follows a multicultural family led by two moms. Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, David Lambert, Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, and Danny Nucci co-star with Mitchell and Ramirez.

The 22-year-old Clayton has guest-starred in “The Client List,” “Shake It Up,” “Days of Our Lives” and starred in the 2012 TV movie “Holiday Spin.”
