Demi Lovato released a new song, “Let It Go,” which will be featured on Disney’s “Frozen” soundtrack. “Let It Go” is originally sung by Broadway singer Idina Menzel, who voices Elsa the Snow Queen in “Frozen,” but Lovato was ready to put her own spin on the song. MTV reports that the song isn’t just about a frozen blizzard — there’s a much deeper meaning to it. Lovato sings about standing up to your fears, even if it’s as harsh as a blizzard. Kristen Bell, who voices the character of Anna in the film alongside Menzel, claimed that the song is all about conquering one’s fears, which is a big part of the film. In the song, Lovato tells her listeners to “Let it go, let it go, can’t hold it back anymore.” Lovato’s album “Demi” was released in May, and she’s already working on her next single, “Neon Lights.” As for the film, it is based on Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale, “The Snow Queen.” It tells the tale of two princesses, one of whom has the power to create snow and ice. After her power gets out of hand, she goes into hiding. Her fearless sister Anna, voiced by Kristen Bell, later embarks on a journey to find her in order to save their kingdom. The movie hits U.S. theaters on November 27. (SD-Agencies) |
