‘Angel Warriors’ premieres in Beijing
    2013-10-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    《铁血妖娃》北京首映

Chinese action film “Angel Warriors” starring mainland actress Yu Nan and Taiwan actor Collin Chou premiered on Monday in Beijing.

“Angel Warriors” tells the story of five girls from the city, who go on a rural getaway* surrounded by lush jungles and beautiful beaches.

But there’s trouble in paradise when an excursion* into the forest leads the five girls into a dangerous encounter with local criminals, who are endangering* the surrounding ancient cultural relics*. However, these aren’t docile city girls who cower to danger; these vicious vixens* decide to take action.

Chou, who is famous for his portrayal of Seraph in the films “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions,” attended the premiere. Talking about reasons why he joined the film, he said, “The first time I met director Fu Huyang, he told me about this story. It was so passionate. I can feel he wanted to tell the story about modern women traveling in a jungle. My role in it is like a Chinese Rambo. It made me very excited. So I decided I want to be in the film.”

The film will screen in China on November 1.
