    Charlie Yeung weds

    Hong Kong actress Charlie Yeung tied the knot on Saturday with her boyfriend of 19 years, Khoo Shao-tze.

    The bride donned* a Legends by Romona Keveza wedding gown and pearls besides a 2-carat diamond wedding ring. She announced the news on October 29 on her microblog, saying, “Right now, I would like to share something good with you. I am going to get married with my other half.”

    

    Feng Xiaogang leaves

    handprints in Hollywood

    Feng Xiaogang, the prolific* Chinese director whose “Back to 1942” is China’s submission for the foreign language Oscar this season, left his handprints at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Friday.

    Feng is the first Chinese film director to have his prints immortalized* in cement at the historic venue.

    

    Zhao Wei on ‘China’s Got Talent’

    The actress-turned-director Zhao Wei will join the panel of celebrity judges in the fifth season of “China’s Got Talent.”

    The “So Young” director expressed, “I think of “China’s Got Talent” as a really interesting program that could broaden my horizons.”

    Meanwhile, Chinese actor Liu Ye will also be joining Zhao as one of the judges.

    

    Eminem takes top prize at

    YouTube Music Awards

    The first-ever YouTube Music Awards on Sunday, improvised* with plenty of celebrity cameos* thrown into the mix, saw awards going to rapper Eminem and hip-hop duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

    Eminem won the Artist of the Year award. Video of the Year was awarded to Girls’ Generation, who are superstars in South Korea but are still making inroads* into the U.S. music scene.(SD-Agencies)
