    赵薇好莱坞中美电影节获最佳导演奖

Chinese actress Zhao Wei has been named best director for her directorial debut, “So Young,” at the Golden Angel Awards held during the 9th Chinese American Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The film is about a young woman’s emotional struggle with two men during and after her university years.

“Unbeatable,” a boxing-themed drama film directed by Dante Lam, has been named best picture.

Both films are among the 130-plus Chinese movies being screened to the American public during the festival.

The Chinese American Film Festival, running until the end of November, is held to promote cultural exchange between the United States and China, and to enhance friendship and understanding between the two countries through communication and exchanging via the medium of film, according to the event’s press release.(SD-Agencies)
