    Eminem wins Global Icon Award at EMA

    Eminem was honored by MTV with the Global Icon Award at the 20th MTV Europe Music Awards in Dutch capital Amsterdam on Sunday night.

    Friday, the rapper announced that he had joined the lineup* of performers via a YouTube promo* set to new track “Berzerk,” off the recent release “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.” He also topped the U.K. album chart on Sunday with this latest studio record.

    Clooney wins at Britannia awards

    George Clooney, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sir Ben Kingsley led the winners at the annual Britannia awards, held by the Los Angeles arm of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts for those making an impact in Hollywood.

    Clooney, 52, picked up the Britannia excellence in film award for his long body of work.

    Miss Universe 2013 crowned

    An evening of extravagant* entertainment marked the crowning* of Gabriela Isler from Venezuela as Miss Universe 2013 on Saturday night at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.

    The 25-year-old brunette* was all smiles as the crown was placed on her head, and didn’t break her grin when the sparkling trophy fell off before she quickly grabbed it.

    Rocker confesses to Zhang Ziyi

    After several weeks of rumors* about Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi’s new romance with singer Wang Feng, the Beijing rocker finally admitted to the relationship on Saturday at a concert in Shanghai.

    Facing more than 80,000 audience members at Shanghai Stadium, Wang suddenly talked about the issue for eight minutes before singing “I Love You So Much.” Although Wang didn’t mention anyone’s name in his remark, audience members yelled “Zhang Ziyi” at the same time and Zhang was spotted sitting in the audience.(SD-Agencies)
