    Wang Lee-hom falls in love

    Chinese-American singer-songwriter Wang Lee-hom for the first time has disclosed that he has a girlfriend.

    The superstar said in his microblog that his girlfriend is named Li Jinglei, 27 years old, and now studies in Columbia.

    “I’m very lucky to meet a girl who can hold hands and enjoy the future with me. She’s not a person in show biz*, so you don’t know her ... My dad and mom love her, hope you love her too,” Wang said happily.

    ‘12 Years a Slave’ and ‘Nebraska’ lead Spirit nods

    The historical drama “12 Years a Slave” and dark comedy “Nebraska” led the nominees* for the Independent Spirit Awards on November 26, both scoring nods* in the best feature, best director and best acting categories.

    “12 Years a Slave,” a tale of a free black man sold into slavery, landed seven nominations.

    Li Yundi unveils girlfriend

    Chinese pianist Li Yundi uploaded two photos of his girlfriend on November 27 on his microblog, 20 hours after Chinese-American singer/actor Wang Lee-hom disclosed his girlfriend.

    Li’s post reads: “I’m very happy today. Everyone should love, and be loved with true passion! My lady is Tian Fei, 25, a finance and mathematics graduate from Columbia University. We met last year. She’s very kind! ... Thank you for your support during this time.”

    Paul Walker dies in car crash

    Actor Paul Walker, best known for his roles in the “Fast & Furious” action movies, died on Saturday in a car crash in Southern California, his publicist said.

    Walker, 40, who was in five of the six films about illegal street racing and robbery, was a passenger in a friend’s car and was attending a charity event, according to a message linked to his Twitter account.(SD-Agencies)
