The drama is airing on South Korea’s SBS TV channel on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Pink to appear at the Oscars Singer Pink will appear at this year’s Oscars, producer Craig Zadan announced on February 21. The producers did not specify what role Pink would play on the show, other than to say that she would take part in “a highly anticipated moment on the broadcast.” The only special moment that Zadan and Meron have announced is a 75th anniversary tribute to “The Wizard of Oz.” The show’s theme is a tribute to movie heroes. Maria von Trapp dead at 99 Maria von Trapp, a member of the Austrian family whose escape from Nazi Germany and subsequent musical career inspired the famed musical “The Sound of Music,” has died at the age of 99.
