    Katy Perry splits with BF

    Things are reportedly over for Katy Perry and John Mayer. The couple have split up, with Perry, 29, breaking off the relationship, according to E! News.

    “She was talking about him like everything was normal about two weeks back,” a source close to Perry told People magazine, adding that the couple “seemed pretty happy just a couple of weeks ago.”

    Bullock to make millions

    Sandra Bullock is poised to* take home the paycheck for her work on the space epic “Gravity,” one that could top US$70 million.

    Bullock’s deal with Warner Bros. calls for her to make US$20 million upfront*, says the magazine, along with 15 percent of the studio’s share of theatrical revenue* and a cut from home video, TV and ancillary* sources.

    Once all the numbers are crunched, Bullock should be set to take home at least an additional US$50 million.

    Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher reportedly engaged

    Hollywood stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are engaged to be married, according to U.S. Weekly and E! News.

    The two, who have been dating for about two years, appeared together on the popular television sitcom “That ’70s Show.”

    ‘12 Years’ wins best picture

    The slavery drama “12 Years a Slave” won the Academy Award for best picture on Sunday, making history as the first movie from a black director to win the film industry’s highest honor in 86 years of the Oscars.

    British director Steve McQueen’s unflinching* portrayal of pre-Civil War American slavery won two other Oscars, including best supporting actress for newcomer Lupita Nyong’o and best adapted screenplay.(SD-Agencies)
