    ‘Star Wars’ cast set

    Harrison Ford will lead stars, including Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Andy Serkis and Oscar Isaac, for the new “Star Wars: Episode VII” film, Walt Disney Co. and Lucas Film said on April 29.

    Ford, Fisher and Hamill will be joined by the series’ original stars Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2).

    Ford played Han Solo, Fisher played Princess Leia and Hamill was Luke Skywalker in the original films.

    Beyonce, Jay Z will tour together

    Beyonce and Jay Z will tour together for the first time this summer, the R&B singer and rapper announced on April 28.

    Beyonce, 32, and Jay Z, 44, who have collaborated on several songs together, will begin their North American “On the Run” tour on June 25 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.

    Pitt, Jolie join new film

    Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be teaming up* on a movie project with a script written by Jolie. Sources have confirmed the two have agreed to team up on the project, which will be the first time the two have shared the screen since 2005’s “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

    No information is being given on the project, although some insiders speculate it could be a relationship drama that Jolie wrote several years ago.

    Sun Li gives birth to baby girl

    Chinese actress Sun Li announced the birth of her daughter on Sina Weibo on Saturday evening.

    “Dengdeng’s younger sister has arrived,” the post said. Dengdeng is the name of Sun’s 3-year-old son.

    Sun reportedly expected her due date to be at the end of June.

    “She and her family have not yet come up with the baby’s name,” her representative said. “They’re happy. Mom and baby are all healthy.”
