It was made by the Walt Disney Company and was based on a novel. It is a comedy that makes the audience laugh repeatedly. More importantly, it teaches parents and children to learn more about each other. In the film, Tess, the mother, and her daughter, Anna, exchange bodies and become each other for one Friday. So Tess and her daughter try to play the role of each other in their daily lives. They make many jokes and change each other’s lives. It is a freaky experience for both characters, but they learn a lot. By living a different life for a day, Anna and her mother learn about the feelings of an adult and the thoughts of a child. They are amazed and moved by each other’s daily lives. Anna learns how much her mother loves her and she begins to accept her stepfather. She becomes more mature than before. On the other hand, Tess also changes a lot. She starts to understand the rock music that Anna loves and becomes proud of her daughter. I think this film is worth watching, especially for families that have a generation gap. They can improve family relationships after watching it. The movie can also reduce misunderstandings between parents and children. In fact, the most effective way to improve a relationship is to communicate more often. People should not think about themselves all the time; they need to pay more attention to others. If someone offers help, you’d better appreciate him or her from the bottom of your heart. In other words, you have to be grateful to others. |
