It is a season when everything is growing. Mice are also producing their next generation, and a naughty little mouse walked into our classroom a few weeks ago. I was the first one who saw it. That day, we were having a geography lesson. I saw a shadow popping its head out from under the platform, which terrified me. I had a few seconds of trembling, then the shadow immediately went back to the platform and never appeared again, but it frightened me for the whole day. A few days later, it was quiet during our evening class, and everyone was doing their homework. Suddenly, our Chinese teacher, Ms. Xue, jumped down from the platform, stepping steadily and mumbling something that we couldn’t hear. We raised our heads and looked at her, which made her feel really embarrassed. Somebody said that it might be a mouse, because Ms. Xue was afraid of mice very much. After a few minutes, Ms. Xue went back to the platform cautiously and all things returned to normal, though Ms. Xue watched the bottom of the platform from time to time. Needless to say, she was scared that the mouse would come out again. After class, we all thought we should find the mouse and do something to help Ms. Xue and our school. Then, some boys moved the platform and some girls cleaned the bottom of the platform, which had been the home of the mouse. They found a lot of food for the mouse and rubbish that we had left. In a word, it was messy. The bad smell spread in the air, but the mouse had disappeared. Soon, the classroom became clean and tidy. Later, when Ms. Xue went back to the classroom, she was surprised and said to us, “You shouldn’t eat snacks in the classroom. You should keep the classroom clean. Then the mouse will never come back.” Hearing this, we all laughed hysterically. |
