Stefanie Sun sent to hospital after China concert
    2014-06-25  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun was sent to hospital for exhaustion following her concert in Chongqing, in which she belted out* over 30 songs in front of some 50,000 concert-goers on Saturday, reported Chinese media.

Photos of her being carried by a bodyguard and of her in a wheelchair at the hospital surfaced online on Sunday, causing her fans to become concerned about her health.

But the worst seems to be over for Sun, who took to her microblog on Monday to let her fans know she is fine.

“After sleeping for an entire day, I have recovered!

“I hadn’t completely recovered from the flu at the time, so I didn’t manage to exit the stage perfectly and made everyone worry,” said Sun.

“Today, I can return to Singapore to see the baby! Happy.”

Her post drew numerous* messages of encouragement from her relieved fans, who reminded her to pay more attention to her health.

Sun will be the first Mandopop* artist to hold a concert at the National Stadium in Singapore when she performs there on July 5.(SD-Agencies)
