Tang Wei announces engagement

    Popular Chinese actress Tang Wei announced her engagement to South Korean director Kim Tae-yong on July 2. The wedding will be held this autumn, according to a press release from Tang’s agency.

    The couple met on the set of their 2009 English-language movie “Late Autumn,” and fell in love when Tang went to South Korea for the shooting of an advertisement last October.

    Ken Zhu dissolves fan club

    Taiwanese actor Ken Zhu will soon become a student at the Beijing Film Academy. On July 2, his manager confirmed the news that the actor was recently admitted into the Department of Directing at the Beijing Film Academy.

    Also in June, the actor surprised his fans by revealing that he will be dissolving* his official fan club eight years after its creation.

    ‘Sherlock’ returning with new special
