THE Westin Shenzhen Nanshan has created a new signature afternoon tea set for men and women. For ladies, the treats are served on a handbag-shaped tiered tray. For gentlemen, the tray is briefcase-shaped.

    With a wide range of sweet and savory delicacies, all skillfully handcrafted by the executive chef Luis Duarte and executive pastry chef Jo Yang, the new afternoon tea is a delightful experience.

    Among the highlights for ladies are the hotel’s famous raspberry vanilla panna cotta, refreshing fruit tarts and the signature fragrant chocolate cake. The gentlemen’s counterpart comes with mini burgers and chocolate cigars. Both sets also include homemade macaroons and freshly baked scones.

    The new signature afternoon tea set is available at Exchange Bar and Daily Treats. It priced at 198 yuan (US$31.69) for two guests.
