There’s no telling if Tyler Posey will be a 2014 Teen Choice Awards winner, but he’ll definitely be seen on that stage.

    The “Teen Wolf” star is officially hosting the surfboard-bestowing ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

    The awards show will air on August 10. Fox also announced that Magic!, the Canadian reggae fusion band responsible for hit “Rude,” and English boy band Rixton will perform, joining the previously announced Jason Derulo.

    “Teen Wolf” has already been nominated for five Teen Choice Awards this year and Posey garnered two of them for himself.

    Posey stars as Scott McCall in MTV’s “Teen Wolf,” currently in its fourth season. At last year’s show, he won the award for choice male summer TV star, while the series nabbed the award for choice summer TV show.

    Besides of accepting the hosting job for the coming award, Posey also announced recently that he proposed to longtime girlfriend Seana Gorlick.

    Posey was born in 1991 and has worked steadily in film and television for more than 10 years.

    Posey also fronts and plays guitar in the band Disappearing Jamie, which was formerly called Lost in Kostko.
