K-pop girl group f(x)’s management agency SM Entertainment announced recently that f(x) group member Sulli will be taking a break from show biz, reported Korean media. SM Entertainment explained that Sulli requested to temporarily leave the entertainment industry as she was tired of the malicious* rumors and online posts about her. “After careful consideration and in order to protect our artiste*, we have decided to minimize her workload and let her take a break,” said the company in a media statement. The five-member girl group had recently completed their promotional activities for their new album “Red Light.” The other four members of the group — Victoria, Luna, Krystal and Amber — will focus on their solo activities while Sulli is on hiatus* and perform as a quartet at an upcoming concert on August 15.
