    Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married in France.

    The couple got married on Saturday in a small, private ceremony in a chapel at Chateau Miraval in the village of Correns.

    According to a statement from the family, “Angelina was walked down the aisle by her eldest sons Maddox and Pax. Zahara and Vivienne threw petals gathered from the garden. Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers*.”

    

    Superman comic sells for $3.2m

    One of the best-preserved copies of the first Superman comic sold for US$3.2m, a record price for a comic book, according to eBay.

    Superman made his debut in “Action Comics #1,” which cost 10 cents in 1938. New York dealer Metropolis Comics said they bought it.

    

    ‘Friends’ anniversary at Central Perk

    To commemorate the 20th anniversary of NBC’s “Friends,” Warner Bros. Television Group, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Eight O’Clock Coffee will bring the show’s most iconic hangout to life.

    Joan Rivers in serious condition Comedian Joan Rivers was in serious condition on August 29 at a New York hospital a day after she was admitted for suffering cardiac arrest* when her breathing stopped during a vocal cord procedure.

    Rivers, 81, had gone to a New York clinic for a vocal cord procedure on August 28. The Fire Department of New York said she was taken to Mount Sinai from Yorkville Endoscopy by emergency workers at mid-morning.
