    Daughter of Robin Williams returns The daughter of the late Robin Williams has returned to Twitter after she quit the social media website over online harassment* she suffered following the suicide death of her father.

    Zelda Williams, 25, an actress who is one of the comedian’s three children, posted the words “thank you” on Twitter on September 1 and linked it to a quote from actor and playwright* Harvey Fierstein.

    “Never be bullied into silence,” the quote said. “Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.”

    

    Qin Hao proposes to Annie Yi

    Taiwanese actress, singer and writer Annie Yi revealed on her microblog on September 3 that mainland actor Qin Hao proposed to her by releasing a series of photos of the proposal*.

    The photos, which show Qin kneeling among candles and holding a bundle of* flowers for Yi with fireworks in the sky, were taken in Turkey on July 14, according to Yi’s post.

    

    ‘Frozen’ characters to return in Disney short film

    Royal siblings Anna and Elsa will be at the center of an upcoming animated spinoff* short next spring.

    “Frozen Fever” will feature the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and other cast members from the 2013 blockbuster.

    

    Roy Andersson wins Golden Lion

    Swedish director Roy Andersson won the Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion on Saturday for his drama “A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence.”

    Joshua Oppenheimer’s “The Look of Silence” won the runner-up award, the Grand Jury Prize.

    The festival’s Silver Lion for best director went to Russia’s Andrei Konchalovksy for “The Postman’s White Nights.”(SD-Agencies)
