    Jaycee Chan’s arrest approved

    Hong Kong actor and singer Jaycee Chan, son of movie star Jackie Chan, was officially arrested for aiding and abetting* other drug users on September 17, according to the Beijing Dongcheng People’s Procuratorate.

    The announcement was made on the procuratorate’s official website on September 17. Jaycee Chan now faces a maximum sentence of three years in prison.

    

    DiCaprio: U.N. Messenger of Peace

    Hollywood actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio has been named a United Nations Messenger of Peace, a post he will use to raise awareness about climate change, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on September 16.

    DiCaprio was scheduled to address a U.N. summit meeting on climate change on September 23, a day before the U.N. General Assembly’s annual gathering of world leaders began.

    

    Nicholas Tse, Faye Wong in love

    Pop queen Faye Wong and Hong Kong actor/singer Nicholas Tse were spotted back together after their split 12 years ago and marriages to other people.

    Sohu.com reported on Saturday that Tse, 34, spent four days at Wong’s home in Beijing since Sept. 15, and video footage* showed the pair kissing in the apartment.

    Katie Chan, Wong’s agent, confirmed the romance on Sunday, sending her blessings to the two.

    

    Ex-husband responds to Yao Chen’s past affairs

    Chinese actor Ling Xiaosu issued a statement on his agent’s microblog in response to the recent rumors of his ex-wife Yao Chen’s past extramarital* affairs.

    In Ling’s statement on Saturday, he didn’t clearly confirm or deny the rumors. Ling thanked Yao in the statement, saying, “Everyone may go wrong, but they will finally take the right path.”(SD-Agencies)
