Dental patient

    A little boy was taken to the dentist. It was discovered that he had a cavity that would have to be filled.

    “Now, young man,” asked the dentist, “what kind of filling would you like for that tooth?”

    “Chocolate, please,” replied the youngster.

    A bump on head

    A man who had just undergone a very complicated operation kept complaining about a bump on his head and a terrible headache. Since his operation had been an intestinal one, there was no earthly reason why he should be complaining of a headache.

    Finally his nurse, fearing that the man might be suffering from some post-operative shock, spoke to the doctor about it.

    The doctor assured the nurse, “Don’t worry about a thing. He really does have a bump on his head. Don’t you remember, about halfway through the operation we ran out of anesthetic?”

    Pay me first

    “I just hope it’s not Alzheimer’s,” confessed the gentleman to his doctor.

    “Maybe there’s some kind of memory medicine you can give me. See, I’m getting terribly forgetful; I lose track of where I’m going or what I’m supposed to do when I get there. What should I do?” he asked glumly.

    “Pay me in advance,” the doctor promptly suggested.
