Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is set to make an appearance on the Indian version of “Big Brother,” a spokesperson for the channel airing the show said.

    Kardashian will join the remaining 12 participants on the program, known as “Bigg Boss,” in Mumbai on Saturday.

    Kardashian is a household* name in the United Kingdom and the United States, best known for reality shows.

    Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson and late reality TV star Jade Goody have also appeared on “Bigg Boss.”

    The 34-year-old Kardashian, who is visiting India this week for the first time, will appear on “Bigg Boss” as a “guest to interact with the contestants,” a statement by the Colors channel said.

    The eighth season of the program started in October.

    Among the Indian participants in the house this year are a number of models and TV actors. The show is hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan.(SD-Agencies)
