Kendall Jenner, 19, has been making quite a name for herself, walking high-fashion runways in New York, Paris and Milan, appearing in French Vogue and starring in Givenchy’s fall advertising campaign. And now she’s racked up another achievement: She’s been hired as the face of Estee Lauder.

    The cosmetics company has dedicated a page of their site to their new model and describes Jenner as a “fashion muse, it girl, Instagram sensation.”

    “It honestly feels like a dream to represent such an iconic brand — it is an incredible honor and quite humbling,” said Jenner in a release.

    Jenner is part of a wave of social media models, including Hailey and Ireland Baldwin, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Suki Waterhouse. After years of being featured in commercial modeling print ads and photoshoots, 2014 has been Jenner’s year.

    Jenner was first featured in Paper magazine’s “Beautiful People” article series in 2010. She began her modeling career by signing with the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency at age 14. Her first modeling job was a campaign for Forever 21. She came to prominence by appearing in her extended family’s E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” She then was cast in “Hawaii Five-0” as the character “AJ” in an episode titled, “I Ka Wa Mamua.”
