Our school newspaper, Xinzhong Herald, has been my companion for almost four years. I can still remember the first time the paper published something I wrote.

    I think Xinzhong Herald has taught me not only how to conduct interviews and improve my writing skills, but also persistence and insistence.

    As deputy editor-in-chief, I have faced various challenges, especially when I had to ask students again and again to hand in their writings on time. However, I always managed to do my job. Eventually, our team could complete an issue before the deadline. I will never forget the days when teachers and students worked together and stayed up late trying to finish an article on time.

    Working for the paper helps me learn writing and editing skills. I would like to thank all the editors, journalists and readers of the paper.

    I strongly believe that every journalist and editor can gain the courage to overcome hardships. As for Xinzhong Herald, future will be better.
