‘Sherlock’ to release 2015 special The BBC has released a picture of the stars of “Sherlock,” Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, suggesting that time travel — or at least fancy dress — will play a part in 2015’s Christmas special. The special is due to start filming in January, with a full season of the show to be screened the following year. Actor Huang Haibo released Popular Chinese actor Huang Haibo, who spent six months in a detention* center after being caught having sex with a prostitute, was released, Beijing police confirmed on Sunday. Beijing police detained the 38-year-old actor on May 15 after receiving a tip-off* and catching Huang with the prostitute in a hotel in the capital city. Gao Yuanyuan and Mark Zhao hold wedding ceremony Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan and fellow celebrity Mark Chao held their wedding ceremony in Taipei on November 28. Gao, born in Beijing in 1979, is considered a “National Goddess” in China for her beauty and acting skills. Zhao, five years her junior, is a Taiwanese-Canadian actor, singer and model. The couple exchanged rings and vows in front of more than 60 celebrities, with director Chen Kaige serving as their chief witness and Tsai Yueh-hsun and Johnny To as the presenter for each side. Gong Li joins cast of ‘Monkey King 2’ Famed Chinese actress Gong Li has joined the cast of the upcoming sequel* to 2014’s Lunar New Year hit fantasy film, “The Monkey King.” Gong revealed that she will be playing Baigujing, or the White Bone Demon — a shape-shifting villainess* that is eager to devour* the flesh of the story’s central character, Buddhist monk Xuanzang.
