South Korean singer Psy can’t stop breaking YouTube records. The video for “Gentleman,” the K-pop star’s follow-up to his 2012 international hit “Gangnam Style,” broke the YouTube record for most views in a single day, hitting 38 million views on April 14 of this year, according to Google’s recently released data. That is eight more than the previous record-holder — the “Kony 2012” video made by Invisible Children. Psy’s “Gentleman” video also hit 215 million just 10 days after it dropped on April 13. It took “Gangnam Style” more than a month to hit 100 million views.(SD-Agencies) |
